Brownies + Pillowcases = Fun!

I did something fun this week... I, along with Anita (my mother-in-law), and three quilters from my guild Ann, Erin and Kelley, lead Lauren's Brownie troop in giving sewing a try. Fourteen girls made a pillowcase in about an hour. It took a lot of prep but it was fun. They were very proud of themselves.

My daughter Lauren helped the other girls with pinning and with the instructions. She sewed her pillowcase the night before to use as an example during her introduction of the project.
